First thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of the design. It looked pixelated and for some reason i was imagining these lenses to be more of a solid blue. The shade of blue was lovely however, so i was excited to try them on and see how opaque the blue actually was.
I bought these lenses from Pinky Paradise along with a few other pairs. I opened these lenses in April, and i keep them in a case like this:
I got this case from the facebook group Raineshop for $4. It comes with a mirror, tiny bottle of solution, tweezers, this stick-thing and the contact lens case. The only problem i have is that the lens case leaks if not placed horizontally level, but nevertheless a very cute case. (:
NOTE: My skin isn't in the greatest condition, so bear with me. S:
NOTE 2: I don't have a fancy camera, so unfortunately i can only take good pictures when im at Elora's place (because she has a nice camera xD) so IN THE MEANTIME we'll just have to deal with these pictures D:
Bathroom Lighting, lens in left eye
Natural Lighting, lens in left eye
With Flash
Indoor lighting, both lenses
Outdoor lighting, both lenses
COLOUR: THE COLOUR IS AMAZING. In fact, in direct sunlight, they look VERY BLUE. It's even a bit brighter and lighter than this blue. Unfortunately pictures are almost never 100% accurate, so what i can tell you is that in different outdoor lighting, the shade of blue would be different; however regardless of the weather outside, the blue would be obvious. They're pretty good for cosplaying. My eyes on a bright sunny day almost look like they're glowing -- the colour it gives off isn't really "natural" xD. I personally love the colour payoff, but i wouldn't wear them to school because the colour makes them look less natural than other lenses that i have and my personal preference is to wear more natural looking lenses, or the teachers stare at my eyes and it gets kinda awkward. o___o" if i was going out with friends i would definitely wear these.
COMFORT: I find EOS to be the most comfortable brand of lenses. My eyes take the least amount of time to get used to them compared to GEO and G&G. I have worn them for 8 hours once and my eyes felt a little dry after 8 hours, which is great because -blush- i don't have a clue how to use eyedrops. They always drop BESIDE my eye. But that's a different story.
OVERALL SCORE: 8/10 - these lenses don't need an enlargement effect; the colour alone is enough for people to notice them right away. These lenses have enough opacity to show a brilliant blue on my dark brown eyes, but in the sunlight they look a little scary. People instantly noticed my eyes and they loved the colour. I'm not A HUGE fan of the design, but they're not bad. I would consider repurchasing these in the future.
Extra Pictures
Outdoors, in the shade
Outdoors, back facing the sun
Outdoors...somewhere. :D
These pictures were all taken outside, but because cameras tend to change their lighting depending on the natural lighting in the picture, all the pictures turn out kind of different. o__o"
To say the least, if you took a picture with these lenses on ... your eyes would look like that. :D
